Our fast-dry Har-Tru tennis courts are the setting for a myriad of fun and competitive activities for players of all ages, ranging from lessons and clinics to round robins and social mixers. Our two USPTA certified tennis professionals have so much enthusiasm for the sport of tennis and they want you to as well. As our Director of Tennis always says, "Tennis is a great gift to give because it is a sport that can be played for a lifetime." Along with his staff, our Tennis Director will make you a believer of that statement with clinics for all ages and personal lessons that will hone in your skill to higher levels.

We offer a variety of clinics for men and women of all ages and skill levels.

The programs are held weekly, and a few are even offered in the evening for those who cannot get away during the day time hours. From the learning of basic tennis skills such as forehand and backhand swings to the more advanced players who want to learn how to improve strategies, our USPTA certified tennis professionals can get you to where you need to be.

Junior

Junior Tennis

The Tennis Department does a fantastic job with the younger members of our Club. 

We hold year-round clinics for different ages, and the number of children who participate has been growing every year. We have our Future Stars (6-11 years of age) and our Advanced/High School Junior Clinics (12-18 years of age). Both groups have weekly clinics that have progressive schedules to teach and help improve their growing skills.

Personal

Personal Lessons

It does not matter if you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced player.

Personal lessons can greatly enhance your technique and help encourage you to go further than you ever thought you could in tennis. Our USPTA certified tennis professionals offer single or group lessons of varying time lengths. Those lessons will be personalized to your specific needs to help work on the areas that need the most attention.

Pickleball

Pickleball

Pickleball is one of America’s fastest growing sports. In the summer of 2019 we created two pickleball courts here at the DCC.

Pickleball is a fun court sport played on a badminton-sized court with the net lowered to 34 inches at the center. It is played with a perforated plastic ball similar to a whiffle ball and wood or composite paddles about twice the size of table tennis paddles.

Pro

Tennis Pro Shop

The Tennis Pro Shop is where it all starts.

The Shop is located next to the seven courts, and contains all you need to get started in this lifetime sport. From rackets to shoes they have what you'll need. The helpful & efficient staff can quickly get you signed up for clinics or personal lessons, and then get you on the court.
