An old school classic tree lined golf course which features fast and firm greens.

A state of the art irrigation system, re-surfaced tees and cart paths, as well as quality Bermuda greens, make the course one of the gems of golf in the southeast. Our PGA Class A golf professional and PGA first assistant know the course like the back of their hands, and give personal lessons and hold clinics to members and their families weekly. The Golf Pro Shop is the hub of all golf activity and anything can be found or ordered by their knowledgeable staff.

Golfers are sure to be pleased when they step foot on the DCC golf course. Led by an experienced and ambitious golf course superintendent, the course is looking better than ever. Each year the course plays host to the prestigious Future Masters Golf Tournament. Andy Bean and Stewart Cink call Dothan Country Club, "the hardest easy course they have ever played. It's absolutely a must play course in the Southeast."

From early spring to late fall, we offer many social golf events such as Couples Nine, Wine, & Dine, Men's White Tee Wednesday, and Adult/Child Tournament days. 

These events are geared towards a fun and companionable time with occasionally some competition thrown in for that extra push!

Junior Golf

Junior Golf is huge at the Dothan Country Club! 

From hosting the prestigious Press Thornton Future Masters Golf Tournament every year to the two-week Junior Golf School Camp offered every summer, the staff has been an integral part of many young juniors’ golf careers. We offer summer training camps for those 6 and under to get started in this lifetime sport, an opportunity to join the PGA Junior League which allows those ages 8-13 to enter into a fun group competition which provides early entry into tournament play sponsored and supported by the PGA of America, and also opportunities for those older players to participate in a Junior Golf School or the Junior Club Championship.

Personal Lessons

Private golf lessons allow you to receive personalized & detailed teaching that will immensely improve your abilities

If you are new to playing golf, need a refresher, or are having trouble reaching a certain goal, then private lessons taught by one of our experienced golf pros is a great way to go. We are staffed by a PGA Class A golf professional and PGA first assistant who can lead you to a better golf game before you know it.

Locker

Locker Rooms

Our locker rooms are full service, including, showers, towel service, toiletries, personal lockers, steam room and shoe services.

Located in the Activities Building, the locker rooms for men and for women are adjacent to the Golf Pro Shop, Fitness Center, & Tartan Grill.
